Bosch Round Hammer Drill Bits deliver 4X life vs. standard masonry bits. These bits feature asymmetric diamond-ground carbide tip for precise starts and less bit walking. The bit heads were built to be robust for 4X life vs. standard masonry bits. They have milled U-flutes with deep-cut spirals for fast drilling in block, masonry and concrete. The grip shank provides aggressive gripping power.

Bosch always has great quality items, this drill bit drilled easily past 2 layers of brick.

I had to drill 26 holes in my concrete pool decking to install the safety cover anchors. The last hole was as quick and easy as the first hole. This 3/4” bit is the best masonry bit I’ve purchased. You will not regret buying this bit.

This bit technically ended up working for me but I purchased it thinking the shank would fit my SKS type hammer drill. Once it wouldn't fit I realized it's a grip shank meant for regular drill chucks.I did end up putting it in another non hammer drill and although it took A LOT longer, it did create 4 holes 2" deep in a concrete floor. If it was used in the type of drill it's meant for, it would have been a much faster process. If you have a hammer drill with a normal chunk, then this is a good bit... Otherwise, skip this one.

I tried to use self drilling anchor bolts to tie an ac condenser to a concrete pad made with a mix of high strength concrete and post mix, using a cordless drill with a hammer function. It didn't work, the bolts went in about an inch before the tips rounded over enough that they stopped progressing. Spent about an hour trying to force them in. Then I got this and appropriate expanding anchors and had the job done in 5min.

I actually thought this bit was going to be great to install pool cover anchors but I had a $29 "hammer drill" so was a little dubious. But it was easy. Drilled right through concrete.

The bit drilled through the stucco in my home's exterior wall easily. I didn't have to apply too much pressure and it was through.

I purchased this Bosch hammer drill bit to drill holes in a concrete pad. The holes were only to be 3" deep and the tip of the bit started to dull and chip after around 5 holes. I had an old 1/2" masonry bit that I bought at a hardware store years ago so I switched to that bit and it easily drilled the remaining 7 holes and could have drilled more. A little bit disappointed in the Bosch bit, glad I had the old bit so I could finish the project.

I purchased this bit for a couple jobs and it works very well and is still like new. It's well made and fairly priced.

Had been putting off running an outdoor power line because I couldn't find a bit big enough to run the conduit through my cinderblock basement wall and I didn't want to woodpecker from both sides so close to several other entry holes. Also, a bit that would fit my normal Dewalt hammer drill chuck was not easy to find, all these proprietary bits with special chuck ends out there made it difficult to know for sure if they would work in my drill. This one worked perfectly! I did have to tighten it a couple times as use quickly had it loosened but after third time tightening the chuck, it was solid! This bit tore through the mortar and brick in a short order and looks like it didn't take any wear. Only time will tell how many holes I can drill with it, but the first one was like a hot knife through butter!
