None of these reeds worked. Bought for my daughter who plays oboe and not a single one works. Had to go buy other ones from local music store.

As all oboe players know, every reed is different. Even in the package all of these reeds were a bit different from each other. I purchases these reeds as I was learning to play for the first time. Everywhere I looked it said that oboe players should make their own reeds but I didn't want to take on multiple projects from the beginning. When I received these reeds they seems well made. They appears to be made with good quality materials. It did take a bit to figure out that I needed to adjust them slightly in order to play more efficiently but my teacher noticed that. All in all I would say these are great for someone starting out or someone who just wants to play the instrument without the additional chore of making your own reed.

Don’t waste your money on this product. The sound is terrible and the quality is just as bad. My daughter hates this reed and we’re sending back immediately. Also, it was a pack of 5 and only got 4. Spend good money on a quality reed, not these.
