  • The suction is strong but varies by surface. On carpets, air-driven brushes use some suction for spinning. For long-pile carpets, electric powerheads are recommended as they use all suction for dust removal, ensuring better performance.

  • Yes, this vacuum is specifically engineered to tackle fine dust particles and pet hair effortlessly, thanks to its powerful suction and advanced filtration system.

  • These units use a self-cleaning filter (except the 500AW unit, which only uses a bag). If a bag is required, ensure you use the correct one (code #391).

  • These units operate with a self-cleaning filter, but for the 700AW model, it has a double-filtration that can be changed if needed. But we don't sell this extra filter online, so I wouldn't talk about it.

  • For replacements, yes absolutely! Professional assistance is recommended if it's for a new house and piping needs to be installed within the walls.

This was purchased as a replacement for another brand that was installed that had poor suction and did not last four years. I had a NuTone in my other home and loved it, it was already 16 years old when we purchased the home and was working perfectly when we sold the house 18 years later. Wish I could have bought a Nu Tone in the first place. It is installed in our garage and you can use it to vacuum out the vehicles without going deaf, it is quiet and no muffler is needed.

This vacuum is a lifesaver! It picks up everything, even pet hair. Emptying it is super easy, too. I've never had a vacuum this good before. Totally recommend it!

It’s really powerful. It was simple to install (a replacement for one that died).They’re all noisy - this wasn’t a problem for us as it’s installed in a basement, well insulated from the house. You might want to get the available muffler if you’re putting it in an attached garage.The tools that come with it are excellent. We particularly like the power head.Recommended.
