I appreciate a good, simple tool. This compact tape dispenser is just the replacement I need for heavier desktop dispensers. I use three types of tape at my craft table and wanted to store the dispensers in a plastic drawer. The desktop dispensers were too heavy for that to be a good fit. These lightweight dispensers are a great solution.
