Installed this on a couple panels of my Bobcat airpack welder to quiet some noise. Didn’t notice any sound deadening but most the noise from my welder is from the exhaust pipe anyway. The material seems to be exactly like the OEM material you see inside all the doors on towable MQ generators so I’m confident it’s durable and of good quality since it seems very strong and doesnt tear easy. The sticky backing is also of excellent quality. So far I’ve put a few hours on the generator since installing and have not seen any adhesion problems or melting from engine heat so I’m pretty happy with the product.

Sometimes this will stick great while other times it will not. I presume it has something to do with the material being stuck to. Don't expect it to stick to everything, even if it appears clean and dry.

Use it to sure up the air conditioner wings. Works well, especially keeping the air in and heat out.Be warned; this product is super sticky so you will want to measure twice and cut once. :)

Surface was cleaned but product didn't stick well. I will try adhesive spray with it.

This is a moderately dense heavy foam product with a very strong/aggressive adhesive. Sound and vibration absorbing qualities are excellent. Very good value for the price. Used it inside a clothes washing machine on the inside metal panels to absorb sound and reduce vibrations. Exceeded my expectations. I will use this on other machinery. Found warming the material helped shape the foam to the contours of the metal.Very Good Product.

Better than most closed cell foam pads because it's thick and doesn't tear easily. I used it to help reduce noise in my car.
