I bought these locks to offer them to people who would use them for their guns at home. They are great quality gun locks, they are coated so they won't scratch or damage your weapon. Please don't be a gun slob. Lock your guns so you will have less of a chance to want to offer gun locks to people visiting your granddaughters wake.The locks are easy to use. They will do exactly what they are supposed to do, prevent accidents and suicides.

If you live in a state with firearms storage requirements, these are a great, cost effective solution. Having all your locks keyed alike is also excellent. No more having a million different keys to keep track of.

I use these to lock up ammo in .50 ammo cans. Just run the cable through the hole in the box's latch after the latch itself has been "hooked" onto the half-square metal frame beneath it. The latch will be partly sticking outward, it being locked into the lid at an angle. This sounds confusing as I write it out, but it works. Sure, the lid of the ammo can can be raised, just enough to get your fingers inside, but you can't get anything out of it. This system works for me, and I don't have to drill into the metal boxes to create holes for different locking methods that will end up costing me more $$$ in the long run than these Lockforall Cable Gun Locks. Just use your "Yankee Ingenuity".
