It is an essential accessory for mounting on super clamps or any piece of grip gear. The adapter has a 1/4"-20 screw at one end and a 3/8"-16 screw at the other for mounting cameras or accessories with a 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 female threaded socket. The spigot is also designed with 5/8" baby pin stud for mounting lighting accessories with 5/8" baby pin receivers. Both ends can fit into an umbrella type bracket.

These were some of the lowest priced spigot studs and they are some of the better ones I've purchased. Threads seem well machined. Materials seem durable. What's not to like. The flat side to keep them from spinning is a great touch.I'll be back for more when needed... for sure.

Great value for the price. Items seem as sturdy as the pins that came with my light stands originally. I had misplaced one so I needed a replacement. A few extra couldn’t hurt. They are metal and have a little weight to them. I saw others for sale on Amazon for a few dollars more, and only 3. This was a better deal and fully worth it.

Something you just can not afford to be without on location. The knuckle on my stands get loose and these come out and get lost . Always make it a point to have 2-3 extras when traveling to a gig !
