I have a pair of studio strobes that I use occasionally with my Nikon D850 which has a pc flash connector. I have a wireless system that plugs into the pc connector to trigger the strobes. With no pc connector on the Z8 I needed an alternative. Rather buying a new wireless system I decided to give this a try because it is so inexpensive…works as advertised.

Not all cameras have a flash sync port as well as a hotshoe for mounting an external flash head. This works perfectly and does exactly what it is supposed to do. When using supported flash heads and 3rd-party (aftermarket) units designed to support iTTL, it works flawlessly. Highly recommend if you have a Nikon camera that does not have a flash sync port.

I purchased this Nikon AS-15 Sync Terminal Adapter Hot Shoe to PC AS15 from the seller JP Import Store for the price of $23.29 and the product was shipped via Amazon Prime.I own a photobooth and am constantly struggling with my wireless remote triggers for the flash. Since my flash is internal in the box I finally decided to make the switch to corded. This is way better. I no longer have to worry about batteries, about the extra delay in the flash (cheap remotes I couldn't guarantee every time to fire unless I was down to 1/60 and that results in a solid black picture in my booth, not good). This gives me the option to plug the cord in straight from my flash to this port. Problem solved.

I didn't need it so I never used it ,,,gave it to my cousin also, he probably put it in a drawer somewhere

Very easy to use, and EXACTLY what I needed to sync my AlienBees to my D7000. This hot shoe adapter is now an essential in my kit, both in studio & on location. It's well made, simple & intuitive to operate, and very inexpensive to purchase. It's a perfect add on for mid to lower level cameras, allowing for professional lighting set ups.

Wow, I didn't expect this product to be soooo small! ha, guess I didn't notice it is only about 1" x 1"...that's funny. Well, I still have a Nikon D100 and, yes, it's outdated and old but it's still such a good camera and I'd hate to spend thousands of $$$'s on another one right now. This camera is NOT for portrait photography that is for sure. :-( But this little adapter, at least, helps get my new strobelite kit attached to it okay...BUT remember that the Nikon D100 cannot do a reading/metering with this on! ha...this is just tooo much fun! Still trying to figure out my Sekonic meter to help me - hopefully that'll be the trick to attempting to use the D100 for portrait photography. We'll see... wish me luck...and good luck to anyone else out there not willing, YET, to spend tons and tons of $$ on a new camera that is actually MADE for what this little adapter is attempting to provide. ;-)

Parfait rien à dire, mais ne pas utiliser sur appareil d'autre marque que Nikon sans avoir vérifié le voltage de la tension de déclenchement du flash.

Der Blitzadapter funktioniert wie er soll und das Kabel hält sehr gut darin - auch und vor allem bei Bewegung. Wichtig war mir vor allem dass der Adapter gut auf dem Blitzschuh hält was bei anderen Herstellern oft nicht der Fall ist. Es gibt natürlich deutlich kostengünstigere Alternativen aber für mich kam eigentlich nur das Original von Nikon in Frage da mich Nikon noch nie im Stich gelassen hat.10/10 Punkte wenn man bereit ist für die Nikon Qualität das entsprechende Geld auszugeben
