Turner(Round 12*2.5mm)
The round knife is perfect for concave surfaces. It is suitable for small and medium sized projects. It is the first choice for use after designing cylinder wood blocks. Such as pens, Christmas decorations, bottle caps, handles and bowls.
Detail(Diamond 10*30*2.5mm)

This system is superior to my set of traditional steel chisels. They stay sharper and there is less tear-out on end grain. They are lots faster and the final product is clearly nicer.

The price is decent compared to others. The tools cut well and have a convenient carry case. It's a bit of a pain having to swap out the different cutters as it only has one handle and the extension bar can't be used as a second handle. My biggest issue, and this needs to be fixed. The round cutter tools (detail cutter and swam neck hollower) the screws holding the bits in are just a bit too long and can get caught on the top rest causing you to cut deeper than intended at times or getting nasty catches. I had to put some very small washers in there to fix the problem.

This is a great set to learn with. I normally use HSS tools on my lathe and I figured I would buy a set to see about the carbide tools. I was turning when the delivery guy dropped them off. So, I pulled them out and gave it a shot. Very good quality set. I will use HSS to do the initial cuts and will use these as the final cuts in bowls that I do.

these carbide tips are small, but they really work great, and I dont have to hone them. I still use my old gouge for roughing in, then take over with these. moving the handle from one to the other when switching is the only negative so far, but thats just a minor detail.

These tools were more than I could have ever imagined. This is the first product review I’ve ever done after years of being a Prime member. These tools cut through the wood like butter, and is used them on sever variations of wood from soft wood to the hardest American hardwood. I am Turkey call maker and these made my job so much easier. If I could be a representative for this product I would be. I am amazed at how well they cut. These tools are a fraction of the price, compared to other on the market. I have made my money back on strikers already. I will buy these over and over again. You will not find a better set of tools in this price ranges.

I've heard of people looking down on carbide scraper / cutters when used in place of traditional gouges. For me, being new to turning, this tool has kept me interested whilst I practise and try to improve with the other tools. The handle plus extension is comparable in length to a quality bowl gouge and the provided cutters have kept their edges (mostly used the circular one so far) very well.The steel cutter holder fits into the handle and fixes in place with grub screws, which isn't the most convenient for quick changes.The long, blue, screw together aluminium handle isn't as nice to hold as a solid wooden handle.But it looks very cool and does what it needs to well enough that a newbie like me can actually turn the kind of nice pieces, that I'm not yet able to achieve with gouges and chisels.So for me it's a game changer.
