My cat had surgery on her eye, and the cone they sent her home with was so large and rigid that she it made her very uncomfortable. She was also unable to reach her food. I tried four other cones from Amazon before I found this one, and each was worse than the last. They were too flexible, poorly fitting, and didn't provide sufficient protection for her surgical site.I was thrilled with this this one arrived. It checks every box! It is padded and comfortable, yet rigid enough to protect the wound while it heals. It is deep enough to prevent my girl from reaching her wound with her paws, but not so deep that she can't access her food and water bowls.Best of all, it has an elastic band that assures a snug fit around the neck so the cone won't fall off when I am not home to watch her (which is incredibly important with a surgical wound). In order to achieve such a fit with the other cones, I had to make the rigid openings very tight. This was very uncomfortable for my girl. The adjustable elastic draw-string solves this problem like a charm.Finally, this cone is cute and offers a little much needed levity. It doesn't look "surgical", and makes the whole situation feel a little less sad.As for the fit, my girl weighs 10 lbs and the medium fits very well, just slightly on the large size.Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a cat cone!!!!

I bought this for my kitten for his neuter since he’s a sphinx the regular plastic cones the vet gives u is too harsh on his skin and could cut him. I decided to buy this after seeing the reviews and WOW it’s durable not flimsy at all!! Most soft cones u buy at the pet store don’t work, are too flimsy, and more of a cushion and less of a cone. This cone is soft but firm holds its shape and definitely lets my kitten feel more comfortable and less pain with the cone. And yes the funny designs for these cones are definitely more for us less for them because it definitely makes for a cute/funny part of his outfit. He’s a sour puss😂

This was the 3rd cone I bought for my cat, and the first one that actually prevented him from licking his forbidden toes. It's cute and somewhat easy to get on him, but it's a bit hard to get the velcro to align exactly on a wiggly cat, and undoing the velcro right next to his ears causes some anxiety, so I just have to let it stay crooked. This cone does make it a bit difficult for him to eat and drink. It gets soaked by water, and he has to squish his whole face into his food, for whatever reason. Not sure how to fix that problem and keep it effective, so that might just be how it goes.

This cone worked perfectly for my recently neutered cat of 4 months The cone from the vet was not comfortable and the cat was not taking to it. The difference in behavior is pretty significant when we put this cone on. It's an easy attach/detach type of cone. Highly recommend.

This cone was perfect for our hairless cat. The cone the vet sent her home with after her spay procedure was very big and had a hard plastic neck ring that was rubbing her skin raw. She also couldn’t eat or drink with it on.This one however is very soft and malleable and it’s the perfect size for her to still be able to eat and drink without assistance.

The product isn’t bad, it’s a little TOO flimsy and often drags or gets stuck when my cat is walking. But it isn’t going anywhere, and fits snugly around his neck.

Obviously cats hate cones. But my girl had to be spayed and vet said recovery suits are not a good idea, they may cause an infection. This cone is cute and easy to clean and not easily flipped as some other soft cones. It's easily adjustable and does not come off, as much as she tries to pull it off. The hard cone the vet gave me, she was escaping from easily. She has gotten used to sleeping and eating with it. I recommend it

Ok didn’t think this would work as well as advertised but pleasantly surprised. Our cat took the cone, placed by the vet, off in about 5 minutes.This one goes on easily and adjusts around the neck with a quick clasp. Love the feature where you can flip the top portion back for the cat eat easier
