This is a great butter dish that will hopefully last longer than last (different type and brand) butter dish.What I like about it:* color choices (I would have preferred white over gray, but did not want to wait for the white which was not available as quickly when I ordered)* the quality of the plastic - NOT brittle and hard, so should not crack like my last dish* it's dishwasher safe* "The low lip inside the dish helps to provide an airtight seal, while keeping your butter in place too."

It is attractive, easy to open and close. Made of good quality materials. I’m sure you will like it. I just bought a second one! That’s how much I like it.

... it works well for keeping butter (margarine, let's be real here,) from absorbing smells from the refrigerator & is a heck of a lot better than just leaving partial sticks of margarine in the butter door of the refrigerator. It also works great for keeping pets & insects away from it when on the counter or table while you're waiting for it to warm up so it's easier to spread. The ONLY drawback to this particular product is that you should NOT try to lift it up by it's semi-transparent top because it's not a terribly tight seal & can drop out the bottom as well as your margarine. As long as you remember to pick it up by it's base though it's fantastic.

I love this butter dish. I ordered 3 different brands because I wanted a new one but couldnt decide. This one beat out the other 2 more expensive ones. It closes easily, fits regular and European (?) style butter as well. Dishwasher safe, too. I also like how the sides of the top dont get near the butter enough to touch it so there is no messy dish. Quailty made and looks almost modern in its design. Very pleased w this purchase.

The lid does not stay on too well so if it gets bumped by something else while reorganizing the lid will pop off. I like it because it's dishwasher safe and doesn't take up too much room on the counter. Fits a sick of butter perfectly.

We keep our sticks of butter, after unwrapped, in this holder in the refrigerator. Basic, no frills. I think it can go in the dishwasher. This is not a fancy item but it works just fine.

This is a good butter dish, but not for Europeans, whose butter is not divided into quarters. A quarter stick, as we yanks use, will fit with room to spare, but the half pound will not.

Diese Größe ist völliger Blödsinn - denn es passt keine handelsübliche Butter hinein! :( Keine Ahnung in welchem Land diese Butterdose zum Einsatz kommt... Wirklich Ressourcen und Energieverschwendung so etwas herzustellen! :(
