Melting Skill Tips:
- 1. Water reach approximate 1/3 of the melting pot body,do not full water reaching pot edge so heating more quickly.
- 2. Stop heating when there are bubbles appear in bottom of the water,do not boil up the water to heat the melting pot.

This is a beautifully made stainless pot designed to sit securely in various stovetop pots. It will fit into a pot with a minimum inside diameter of 4.75†to a maximum outside diameter of 6.5†with multi point stability. You can put it in a bigger pot but it will not have tip resistance from sitting on the pour spouts as well as the handle and hook. The pour spouts are well designed. The pot is flat bottomed. It will sit easily on a counter or trivet without an outside pot.I am comfortable moving and pouring from it with two cups hot liquid

This is the third one I've purchased (because I did need that many) and every single one is consistently made and sturdy. I'm very impressed on how easy they are to clean and how well they hold up under repeated daily use.

Bought as a second pan for my double boiler. 1 pan for candle making, 1 for soda bar making. Works good. Would be nice to find manufactured somewhere besides China.

Love, love, love this! Being someone whom bakes with hot things, I wanted less bulk. It's hard already to poor things, but when you have that heavy pan it can make things more likely to burn you. This pan is so lightweight. It's design allows it to sit on brim of smaller pan. I personally use for melting chocolate. So I simply heat water under this pan, take off when done, wipe bottom with towel & pour. Easy cleaning. Just soak & wipe with anti scratch sponge.

It is a very small melting pot. It wouldn’t not work for me as I don’t think it would even hold a full bag of chips. Super cute just not practical for my needs

I needed something with pouring spouts on the double boiler and this works perfectly. FYI, 1000ml capacity is 4 cups. This comes to about 1/2 inch from the top - and you can still pour without spilling.

I am just dipping my toes into candle-making. I tried a wax melting pitcher for the double boil method and it did not work for me - the pitcher I ended up getting was too light, became unstable, and bobbed around uncontrollably so I decided to give this one a try. I like this method way more than using a pitcher because this sits on the pot perfectly, the handle stayed cool, and the 1200 ml was bigger than I thought. I did a test run with some old candle wax and it worked perfectly, it melted the wax, and it is definitely more solid than the lightweight pitcher I attempted to test with before. Plus, once I get bored with candle making (as I inevitably probably will) I can reuse this for melting other things. All in all, very happy with this purchase!

We were looking for an actual Double Boiler, but chose to try this one out, using our own pot to heat the melting pot. Worked fantastic melting Chocolate for baking. Great purchase.
