Used this to replace a worn out, underrated fuse that had thinner gauge wiring than the rest of the wiring. We use 8awg and this beefy circuit breaker functions as expected. You can test trip it and reset. It has not tripped in use, as it shouldn't, so we are fully satisfied with it. The specs for our Minn Kota call for a 60 amp fuse, which surprised me, but I guess they pull a lot of amps when you hit the 'go' button. Heat seal covers for connections work great and the seal seems fully waterproof.

I bought this 15 amp resettable breaker to use in my camper. Wire leads are easily attached by unscrewing the clear caps on either end. The connection is water tight through the use of a rubber boot that covers the connector. The red lever can be moved to either the open or closed position and it is easy to tell is it has been tripped.

Overall works well for what it was designed for. Just a warning, don't use it in places where heat builds up, like in an engine compartment. Mine kept tripping after driving for a while on warm days. I had to replace it with a terminal block fuse.

I used this with a medium-size 12 volt refrigerator I installed in my motorhome. Why use a fuse when you can use a circuit breaker, right? There's screws on each side made to connect the wire, of which my 12 gauge wire worked fine (could go a lot bigger if needed), and then I mounted the breaker on a wall in the battery compartment. The breaker can also work as an on-off switch if needed.

I used an M1A2 80 amp for an in-line breaker to my cabin battery in my camper for safety and as a disconnect. It worked well for this application. I recently connected the engine battery to the cabin battery through an Automatic Charge Relay (ACR) using the same breaker. When I tested it, the alternator was charging right around 40 amps tested with my DC ammeter. It tripped quickly. After letting it cool and resetting it, the breaker repeatedly tripped over and over again around 40A. The same current, of course, was going through the same breaker at the cabin battery which performed as it should. I used the AC charger and charged the cabin battery up considerably and tried it again. Now it was charging around 20 amps and it performed as it should and did not trip. My conclusion is that my new breaker for the engine battery was marked 80A but performing as a normal 40A breaker. This would suggest a quality control manufacturing issue. This might explain the frequent complaints of the device repeatedly tripping at lower than marked amperage. The supplier read this review and quickly sent me a refund. I purchased the another one of the same brand from a different supplier on Amazon hoping it would come from a different batch. Exactly the same problem and tripped repeatedly at 40 A. I would not buy any more of these, 2 strikes and you are out. I ordered a different breaker from a different manufacturer.

This thing is great, if you're dealing with an overdraw or short and having a hard time finding it this makes it easier than changing out a million fuses while looking for the issue. Works fine for amps or lighting.

Breaker provides an isolation circuit for an Anderson Connector in the engine bay of my truck. Fastens well to the side wall. There is an insert for thinner cables. I am using 6AWG (13mm2) cable. The grub screw does anchor the multi-strandard wire cable. However a second grub screw or Ferrule would be an improvement. Otherwise I am pleased.
