I find this very useful. It holds my laptop and several notepads. It's not an eye sore and fits well on my desk. I may just order two more and see what kind of platform I can create with this and expand my desk space... I highly recommend. It frees up desk space, visually great, and priced fairly.

arrived with several deep scratches on the top surface. was able get some credit back from amazon for the inconvenience. the shelf looks great and is sturdy, but seems to have quality control issues.
