It’s a beautiful silver clock face. I opted to get the silver color because the contrast with a dark-stained quartered oak finish will make the clock face stand out. Unfortunately, the largest Forstner bit that I have is 2-1/8 inch, so making the clock will have to wait. Check your bit sizes before you order. I had to order a 3-inch Forstner, and it was affordable at about $22. The clock takes one AA, and it’s been keeping time well. Also, it ticks, which is my preference. I believe the sound makes it better. The back cover is easy to remove, but must be oriented properly to be re-installed (it’s not difficult). All in all, I like this clock face. I’m looking forward to doing some woodworking.
