I make wall clocks and purchasing the clock movement through local crafts stores has gotten so expensive. Found these clock movement on Amazon and you get 4 all together for one price. Made very well and highly recommend. Thanks

Nice selection of hands. the mechanism itself is absolutely quiet and hasn’t lost ant time in about 3 weeks.the only problem is the battery holder hooks over the positive battery terminal and between that and the fact that battery is held so tightly that it is a real pain getting the battery out - especially if the mechanism is mounted in a tight space.

I bought this set to make clocks using wine corks on the face. I needed a longer shaft to accommodate their depth. I didn't really think about the ticking noise when choosing a set, but I'm very happy that these are silent. The seconds hand moves smoothly and silently. They are extremely easy to install. I will likely buy these again for my future clocks. Only negative I can say is that the hands are very thin and extremely easy to bend, so handle with care.

I've previously used stepping-style drives when making clocks out of dead disk drives (remember those?). But many of them, from multiple vendors, have been horribly inaccurate, losing tens of minutes a day. While the failure examples may have been exceptions, these have remained correct over several months. I'll be using these continuous sweep parts in the future.

The long stem is great, but without open minute nuts the minute hand is hard to secure.

All four mechanisms worked, just be aware the large hour/minute hands don't have a second hand (as picture). Fitting the hands onto the spindle is quite tight and you may have to open them up slightly. I used a tapered punch that I gently tapped into the collared hole. Arrived in three days from a UK Amazon depot even though seller was from China!

Der Stift des Uhrwerks ist schön lang, so dass man es schön in eine selbstgestaltete Uhr aus Holz einsetzen kann.Schnelle Lieferung, Ware wie beschrieben.Die Zeiger haben wir aus einer anderen Lieferung genommen, da wir hier helle gebraucht haben.Würden wir wieder bestellen.
