I learned the hard way that less-expensive MIDI-to-USB cables are spotty when transmitting signals to and from my older (1980s-90s) MIDI synths. I'm happy to report that this cable bucks that trend; it doesn't cost much but works just as well as my more expensive convertors. As a bonus, it does not have a large "convertor box" in the middle of the cable, just the MIDI and USB-A connectors on either end. I will definitely be buying more of this one!

Passes SYSEX messages!!! Ordered two and they both work! Not something I can say about the cheaper alternatives. ABSOLUTELY worth the extra money; these are better value to me.

Simple connector: Midi in and out to USB. Once I plugged it into my MAC and my midi keyboard I saw the green light flashing upon playing notes. I used Garage band and Cubase: both worked find.Good product. I would reccomment it.

It’s honestly a no brainer to go with CME when shopping for MIDI options.I using this to connect and old Roland TD-6V drum module that I’m using to power a DIY acoustic to electric conversion and send 5-pin MIDI into an old Mac’s USB to run EZD3, Slate Audio, MLSound Labs Mikko drums.Works like a charm.Highly recommend.

Not sure what other people are doing to theirs, but this thing was immediately detected and installed by my Win10 laptop using Sonar Artist (pre-BandLab) and transmits my Simmons kit to Session Drummer 3 flawlessly. I like how it flashes with each touch from my electronic kit to show that a signal nis moving. Great bang for the buck!

Desde que compré este cable MIDI, me ha facilitado mucho la conexión entre mis dispositivos sin necesidad de instalar drivers ni hacer configuraciones complicadas. Es realmente un "plug & play", lo conectas al ordenador y al teclado o sintetizador, y enseguida empieza a funcionar sin problemas. La transferencia de datos es rápida y sin latencia apreciable, lo que es fundamental cuando tocas en tiempo real y necesitas que la respuesta sea inmediata.El cable tiene una buena construcción, se nota resistente y los conectores encajan bien sin holguras, algo que me da confianza para un uso prolongado. Además, el filtro integrado hace su trabajo reduciendo ruidos o interferencias, algo que con otros cables más baratos suele ser un problema. Lo he probado tanto en Windows como en Mac y en ambos ha funcionado sin complicaciones.Si hay algo que podrÃa mejorar, quizá serÃa la longitud del cable, que para algunos setups podrÃa quedarse un poco justa si tienes los equipos separados, aunque para la mayorÃa de situaciones es más que suficiente. También hay que tener en cuenta que es un cable diseñado para MIDI tradicional, por lo que no tiene las funciones avanzadas de una interfaz MIDI más completa, pero si solo necesitas conectar tu instrumento al ordenador sin gastar demasiado, es una opción excelente.En general, cumple perfectamente su función, sin fallos y con una calidad de materiales que da confianza. Muy recomendable para quienes busquen una solución sencilla, fiable y sin complicaciones.
