I have had 3 different types of these in the $150 range and they all failed. So I decided to move up to a higher end model. This thing is fantastic! The smaller ones recommend you turn off the pump. They get stuck on the main drain if I don't or reduce to suction on that drain. With this, I let it run with the pump on and I was also filling water from a hose. This didn't blink. It rolled right over the drain on full draw. When it hit the water from the return and hose is pushed through without any issues. There is a brush included that snaps into the bottom. Not sure how long this will last. It ran the full 2 hours and picked up a lot of debris. It also has a larger filter area for catching small particles.Once it was done, it parked at the side and the light turned red. The power button is a dial type. The led lights display around the knob.I didn't see this in the listing any where but, both of the propulsion ports are adjustable. You can turn them to control the direction the cleaner turns. I have a free form pool so I used them at zero and it cleaned the entire area. It may be handy in some situations. The number one thing that makes this better than any of the others (for me at least) is the cap on the charging port. All the others I had use a open connector on the bottom. Water gets in here and then it is unusable. I'm not sure why the other don't use a cap but they need to start. Also, the wheels are not the hard plastic type so it should be a little more surface friendly. My only negative is they use a rope and floating ring to catch it for removal instead of a handle and hook. It isn't that heavy when it in the water so it lifts easily. The ring moving does allow me to see it's working from a distance, The ring does fit over the power dial for storage if needed. It drains without allowing a lot of small particles escape.Easy to use and powerful. I highly recommend!

The Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum is a great addition for those looking to maintain a clean above-ground pool with minimal effort. Here's a breakdown of its features:Pros:Cordless Convenience:The cordless design makes it incredibly easy to use, as you don’t have to worry about tangled cords or staying near a power source. It’s perfect for an above-ground pool setup.Powerful Suction:This vacuum has impressive suction power, making it efficient at picking up dirt, debris, leaves, and even smaller particles. It can handle most typical pool messes.130-Minute Run Time:The 6600mAh battery provides up to 130 minutes of continuous cleaning time, which is more than enough to clean an entire above-ground pool of up to 1300 sq. ft. It’s great for larger pools and doesn't need to be recharged frequently.Ideal for Flat Pools:It works best for flat-bottomed above-ground pools, where it can operate freely and clean more efficiently. This makes it a great fit for many standard above-ground pool shapes and sizes.Ease of Use:Setup and operation are simple, and the vacuum is lightweight enough to handle with minimal effort. It's designed to navigate the pool on its own, making pool maintenance a lot less labor-intensive.Cons:Limited for Complex Pools:While it works great for flat-bottom pools, if your pool has slopes or complex shapes, the vacuum might not be as effective in those areas.Battery Life Over Time:As with most battery-operated devices, battery efficiency may decline over time, especially with frequent use. However, the initial battery life is very reliable. Not Suitable for Large, Deep Pools:This vacuum is designed specifically for above-ground pools, so it may not be powerful enough for larger or deeper in-ground pools. It’s best for smaller to medium-sized above-ground pools. Conclusion:If you have an above-ground pool and are looking for an efficient, easy-to-use vacuum, the Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum is a solid choice. It offers great suction power, a long run time, and is very convenient with its cordless feature. It’s ideal for most above-ground pool owners, but may not be suitable for complex or large in-ground pool types.

This is an affordable, easy to use pool vacuum. It isn’t made to do the sides of the pool, and it can’t handle a slope bottom. It is perfect for above ground pools and I love that it parks itself at the side of the pool when the battery gets low. It has enough battery to do the entire pool. The suction is excellent, and it picks up everything it can reach on the bottom. It makes keeping the pool clean so much easier, and it’s actually fun to sit and watch it work. The only downside is that it doesn’t do corners or get up to the edge all the way and it doesn’t do the sides. It’s not a big deal, but you will want a handheld pool cleaner as well to do those areas, though you won’t need to do them near as often. This is also very easy to empty and clean out, so it’s always ready to go. Charging is easy and you can use it every day during the summer if you want to.
