I have a set of loppers from my father which are probably older than me. They have not ever been sharpened (although I remedied that this year) and they have been asked to cut through branches much larger than they were ever designed to. In short, they are indestructible and they always get the job done. So, when I decided to buy a larger set of loppers to complement my old ones I checked the brand name of my old trusty pair. It was "Corona." By chance, that also turned out to be the brand of my favorite shears - the only pair which I have yet to bend.So I bought these "Corona Tools | 33-inch Branch Cutter" loppers. They feel really well built. They work extremely well. They will probably get passed down to my son along with his grandfather's original Corona loppers. It feels good to have some nice tools. Go ahead and buy these.

I thought this one would be easier to use but It does work good but a little heavy for the wife to carry around. But it will cut small Branches very well! I would say it is worth the money if you can hold it up.

These are the BEST pair I have ever owned!!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend them!!! They are so easy to use and cut like warm butter through branches/small trees with such ease. I bought a pair of large Fiscars to replace a very old rusting set, they were ok, well actually horrible compared to these. Is I kept the packaging I would return them. I am sold on this brand. I was astonished at how easy my project was. With the Fiscars set I got only a few branches done and was tired and my arm hurt... these guys, I cleared another section about 4 times larger and no pain. You can trust this buy! And you will love how quickly your project will go! They are large, so they do have a bit of weight to them, but not bad at all. And I love how long they are too! I was easily getting branches about 8-9’ off the ground without a ladder.

I reserve a five star rating for the very Best! These loppers make large precision cuts with ease.Excellent quality, looking forward to using them for a long time! The loppers were so far above and beyond others I am ordering Corona pruners and their sharpening tool. This one product has earned them a life time customer! I will encourage every gardener I know to purchase Corona products!

Cuts tree branches with ease! Much easier to cut limbs ans branches compared to regular snips. The cutter is very rugged, however I do find that the blades are a little on the soft side. I'm only cutting some small branches and after a couple cuts I've notice that the blades have some nicks already. The bushed I'm cutting is considered kinda soft so it's not that hard stuff like oak trees branches. Not sure why the blades nicked so easily, but so gar they have not worsen.Worth the price and cheaper on Amazon than from buying from Lowes :)

Was tired of using short, small mouthed loppers. These are big and robust w/ some mechanical advantage allowing use on larger branches. Little heavy but in a good way.

My 20+yr old loppers finally gave up, the fiberglass handles started splintering and so I needed a replacement. I read some research, looked at several brands, sizes, etc. and determined this pair would meet the most applications I would have for my trees/shrubs. Granted in some cases these feel like overkill as they are on the large side, but they do the job on small and large branches just fine and I didn't want multiple loppers to deal with in the garage. They are very sturdy, I believe I'll get a long life out of them, should that change I'll come back and update.

They seem very sturdy upon opening the box. HOWEVER, the first thing I did was attempt to cut a small sapling measuring at 1 1/2" (see picture) and the blade bent and won't close anymore. The blade is hitting the anvil and has dented the cutting edge. The product says it can cut up to 2". I have an old pair of loppers that's probably older than me that still works but getting old. And I've abused the crap out of them. Worried I would break the wooden handles on quite a few occasions. But they are still fine. Original wooden handles and all. Was hoping to upgrade a tool. Not with this one.

Although a little heavy to handle, it cuts branches easily.

Very well made and easy to use as they're intended for. Obviously wouldn't try cutting 59mm of hard wood but good enough for most materials

Would I buy them again ... no. But they do the job. This tool is just too heavy for me.
