The CP-2 Sensor System is an electronic vehicle detection device based on the science of electromagnetic induction. All the electronics are build-in the sensor package that is supplied with 100', 200', 300', or 500' of underground burial cable. The sensor responds to the movement of a vehicle only and is unsuitable as a hold open loop. No Sensitivity Adjustment. Covers 12' wide driveway from side of drive, RFI/EMF protected.

I installed this on my electric gate for easy exit. It has worked great over the last 11/2 years. One thing to be aware of as it does have different levels of sensitivity that you can set. Be sure and read the instructions fully before burying. If you need a gate sensor, I would highly recommend this product

I received a recommendation from this product from the supplier of my electric gate system. The ground loop that was applied with my original electric gate was faulty to say at least so when I re-contact them they recommended I buy this particular ground loop sensor. Easy to install even though it does recommend being in in piping underground which I did. Worked right off the bat. No issues wired right into the controller box. No problems

Unfortunately my first sensor lasted a year, so I bought a new one. Same model… This one worked for just over two years and started opening and closing the gate about every 30 seconds. So we’re out the cost of two sensors so far. Looking for a better solution going forward as this is not going to happen where I have to dig up my yard every year or so.

Replaced old style sensor. It is a little work installing the wire in a conduit but it is a better job than the old style direct bury style.

This CP4 is replacing a different manufacturer sensor that didn’t work very well. Sometimes it wouldn’t detect vehicles leaving. I got g to Fred of this and decided to go with the CP4 from Cartell.I have to say this sensor works great. Instructions were great however the video on the Cartell website was perfect. It made wiring the sensor to the board extremely easy.I highly recommend this Sensor!
