I wish I had these years ago! I was skeptical but they work way better than standard vise grips when changing end links. I live in the rust belt so they never just unbolt as intended. It's crazy that this design grips so much better!

Best tool ever! My hubby had issues with a ball joint and these baby's helped finish the job! No vise grips would fit right but these did. They also are great at taking off rounded nuts! Get a pair, you will be thankful later! 5 stars!

This is a great and extremely useful tool for removing seized or rounded bolts and washers.Because this tool grips the head of the bolt or the washer on three sides, unlike most wrenches that grip only on twos, the grip on the bolt or washer is much more secure, allowing more torque without slippage and greatly reducing the chances of rounding or otherwise damaging the bolt or washer.Pipe wrenches are also great tools for removing rounded bolts and washers, but these parrot nose or sway bar link pliers don't require nearly as much space as a pipe wrench and can be used in tight spots where pipe wrenches won't fit.A highly recommended tool that will help you avoid frustration and save you much time.

What I like about this tool is the jaw parrot design is good for grabbing things that spin like ball joints and sway bar links.I struggled a lot to remove sway bar links using a brand new Pittsburgh pliers in the pictures and it didn't work with the Pittsburgh pliers(any pliers like those Pittsburgh pliers won't work). Pittsburgh pliers have thick jaws and they don't fit in the sway bar links nor most ball joints but the parrot pliers have thin jaws that fit perfectly. What I don't like with this parrot plier is that the jaw that looks like a 'V' shape has one side of the teeth in wrong direction(see picture with red circle).People complain about all parrot pliers not grabbing things after 1 or 2 uses and I can definitely say that it's because only 2 out of the 3 section of teeth on both jaws go the same direction(teeth leaning direction). That means either 1 section will grab or only 2 sections will grab while the other side gets smoothed out. That's a poorly and frustrating design that'll make the teeth not last long. They should've made all teeth lean in the same rotational direction(clockwise or counterclockwise), that would've given complete 3-way grip (or 0 grip if the plier is used in the wrong direction).I'll keep it because it's a very important tool and unless you are a full-time mechanic, as a DIYer, I won't be using this everyday.

After struggling with a rusty drop link nut that just kept spinning as i couldn’t get enough tension on the stud, I gave up and decided to look for other solutions. Came across these pliers on Youtube. All I can say is after clamping these on the back of the drop link, the nut began to turn straight away.Due to the shape they grip on 3 points of contact so whatever it is grabbing doesn’t slip. These pliers also have to be used in a certain direction due to the teeth being slightly angled. If you use them the wrong way its likely the teeth would be rounded off.Great tool, does the job.

This tool is well-made and feels sturdy, with a firm grip that makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces. It worked effectively on lightly rusted or new sway bar links, helping me complete simpler jobs quickly. The angled design provides good leverage, which is a definite plus. However, it struggled with heavily corroded or stubborn links. The grip occasionally slipped under higher torque, and I had to resort to other tools to finish the task. For occasional or lighter use, it performs well, but for more demanding jobs, it might not be the best option. A nice addition to a toolbox but not a universal solution.
