My kids eat a lot of strawberries and my husband thought this would be an awesome kitchen tool. Besides the fact that it broke after the second use, it also didn’t cut all the way through the bottom of the strawberries. I still had to get my pairing knife and finish slicing them.I hand washed it and one of the blades popped out. Threw it away. Junky item. Very disappointed

I could not write this review fast enough. I love fresh strawberries but hate slicing them. I sliced 2 pints of strawberries and a pint of blueberries in less than 2 minutes with this! Such a good little slicer. I can’t wait to slice more fruits and veggies with it!

Preparing strawberries by cutting them up is time consuming, so this seemed like a great solution. However right out of the box there some issues.Two of the blades were hanging loose when I opened it, so I had to take a pair of pliers and carefully squeeze the red plastic frame so I could pop the blades back into the slots.For some reason I thought it would be easier to guide the blades over the item you are cutting, instead it takes a little work to make sure you are going end up with the cutter aligned over the base so the blades will go all the way through the item.Because the blades are so sharp, cleaning is a little intimidating, getting between the blades with some soapy water safely probably means using some kind of brush.Once you've cut the item, the only way to get it out is to pour it out. In the case of an egg, this can definitely affect the presentation.As others have mentioned, I guess the blades are not so sharp because it can deform the object being cut due to the pressure.I think had I watched the video I would have realized a few of these points before making the purchase. In the end I think it is worth keeping for special cases, but I've put it away in the original box to make sure I don't accidentally cut myself picking it up out of a drawer.

Netter kleiner, günstiger Schneider für kleine und weiche Lebensmittel (aber keine weichen Tomaten!). Es schneidet auch weiche, aufgetaute Erdbeeren sehr gut. Allerdings wäre es schön, wenn das Schneidgerät auch einen Deckel für die Oberseite hätte.Deshalb nur 4 von 5 Sterne. Trotzdem wird erfüllt, was versprochen wird - Lebensmittel zerkleinern.

Ik ben nog niet onder de indruk, het lijkt niet heel stevig te zijn en soms wat bot. Mijn druiven hebben het niet in schijfjes kunnen navertellen, mijn meloen ook niet. Mijn aardbeien leken de enigen te zijn die er goed uitkwamen.Mijn mes doet beter werk.
