Your cart is empty.A CURT front trailer hitch allows you to use the front end of your vehicle for a variety of towing applications. They can be used for mounting a winch, a snow plow, a number of towing accessories and can even be used for some trailering applications. When space is limited, a front trailer hitch is commonly used to hold a cargo carrier, freeing up space inside the vehicle for extra cargo and making the rear mount receiver available to pull a trailer. At the boat ramp, your boat trailer can be hitched up to the front receiver hitch, giving you better control over the trailer as you launch. Some of the other accessories that can be used with a front tow hitch are the CURT winch mount, step pad, license plate holder, spare tire mount, skid shield and tow hooks. All CURT front trailer hitches provide a useful receiver tube to accept a 2" x 2" shank, and they are commonly used on trucks, vans and SUVs. This front trailer hitch is rated for 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW. It also has a straight-line pull rating of 9,000 lbs. It is designed to be a custom trailer hitch for certain years of the Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ (to verify your vehicle compatibility, see application info). This was a "scratch and dent" so to speak but I didn't see anything too out of place and fully functional. So I got it for a great price and it was easy to install and will make a great attaching point for my winch.

I personally think this thing looks bad ass. The construction is amazing, it’s welding is very smooth and strong. I have not seen anything like this on the road. I simply removed the four screws that held my bumper and Tow hooks. I did have to replace the previous screws with longer ones so I could reinstall my tow hooks. The finish is a thing of beauty. I will not be using it for anything that would compromise its load capabilities, since it will be a bike rack or storage rack. See picks.

Boy it's nice when a plan comes together with a hitch. This receiver hitch fit my jeep perfectly which was a nice surprise as I expected I would need to make modifications. No modifications at all. I followed the guide which prevented me from making a mistake on the model to order, it came quickly and it installed perfectly.

Overall this product is great and I love curt hitches.That being said, I really wish that they had specified that this product mounts on the TOP of the front bumper. I had to do some "custom" fabrication in order to mount it below the bumper. So, either mount it on the top (in minutes) or plan on using a bunch of tools and a pretty good amount of time to install (where it belongs) under the bumper.

is always a pleasant surprise when a piece of equipment is perfectly machined and tooled,out of the box,right to placement,all holes and bolts match,,this is great.As for the hitch is beefy enough to pull most any weight the motor has power to pull!Install instructions can hardly be called install,this is a set it on top of bumper,drop 4 (provided) bolts)torque it to specs and get rid of the box.1992 YJ

This hitch will not fit if there is a winch mounted on top of the front bumper. Description should have said so!

Bolted right on to my 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ despite somewhat vague instructions. Note that you'll need to cut the plastic trim that you have to remove to install. Makes the Jeep look like a rhino when I add the CURT 45500 hook onto it!
