I don't want to buy a new front axle for my WK2 Jeep, so i ordered this boot. It fit perfectly onto the CV joint with the old boot removed. The axle end of the boot offer two i.d. sizes, the larger was perfit for for the axle shaft. I used the clamps which came with the kit. I also added string to keep the boot closed, added rtv along the seam.

These boots don’t come with any adhesive or sealant. Nothing keeps the halves together other than the clamps at each end. The halves don’t lock together either so when you are driving and the tire spins the middle of the booth opens at the seams. I tried some super glue but you have to hold it together for about 5 minutes for it to harden enough stay and it doesn’t seem like a lasting repair. I used a Dorman universal split boot with solvent included I used it created a chemical bond almost almost instantly. The material even got warm. This is nothing like that. I’d stay away from this

Fit perfectly unlike other brands I bought. No glue or grease is an issue. But that's why it's so cheap. Great quality

The product is small, this is not universal fit, probably for a small car or motorcycle, i think the materials are good quality but it is not usefull

This product doesn't come with grease, and it do not have the adhesive that you will need to seal the boot, so basically it's a useless product. Don't buy, waste of time. Not sure, but I think loctite 501 adhesive is what you to buy.

The boot for my cv repair was fine but the metal clamps to hold the boot in place, for me I needed a tool to pull clamp together. Didn't have anything that would work so went to ace hdware picked up standard pipe clamps they work fine as long as they clear any metal suspension parts.

Unacceptable, completely unacceptable, three rubber gloves, no grease and the boot was in that small of a box the it got deformed to line up the tongue groove, whoever is making these should be bankrupt, I wonder if I can return it.
