it was so easy to install that I thought it wasnt' going to work. it fit perfectly.I couldn't find this cartridge anywhere but on amazon. Glacier Bay is only sold in Home Depot and I couldn't find it on their website, bummer!!BUT it worked. I cleaned the faucet and it looks and works like a new faucet. It should last another 7 years. Thank you for selling this item, this piece saved me lots of money and time.

Replaced leaky cartridge in Glacier Bay shower handle. Installed quickly but the hot and cold were reversed. I had to reinstall the cartridge upside down for this to work. This doesn't look right based on the tab locations on the cartridge, but it did the trick.

This was a nice replacement part at a decent price. All three of my showers use this type of mixing cartridge for temperature control, and I replaced all three. Up to this point, no shower was holding a steady temp, and we were thinking it might be the fairly new tankless water heater causing the issue. After replacing the first part, that shower was able to achieve a hotter temperature and hold it steady, and we knew that it wasn't the water heater. I immediately ordered new parts for the other showers and replaced them as well. They are all still working perfectly. Each repair took 10 or 15 minutes, tops. Make sure you keep the orientation correct as you take the cartridge out...it has it's own parts and can be easily taken apart or moved so that the orientation of its parts will be wrong. Fit our shower perfectly. Make sure to get the correct size/length. Obviously I installed the wrong way and had to pull out and put back in to fix hot and cold water. Easy to install/uninstall and correct my issue.

Despite the numbers and all the codes matching and it looking exactly perfect to what you need there is something different about this piece if you are replacing Glacier Bay - I found out that the DO NOT MAKE REPLACEMENT PARTS. So any company claiming this is simply lying to their customers and amazon...

Put the replacement part in before installing into shower. This part I made better than the original part in the aquasource shower unit. Using the aquasource cartridge as the back up.
