Works perfectly without dripping like the old one did. I had quite a bit of trouble pulling the old one out. A good pair of channel lock pliers were required to get it out. The new cartridge slid right in. I used silicone grease on the rubber seals. It makes a difference. The old one that I removed had no sign of grease on it.

I was a little suspicious given the price difference from the Delta OEM part, but I've taken the old one apart and am convinced that the quality is similar. (Save the old one & clean it up to reuse.)

Very slight drip when closed. Danco sent out replacement asap. Hopefully new one is better.

This part was simple to install and fits just like the original Delta part. You can find videos on the Internet that show you step by step how to install. The part I bought was “used like new†and carried a good discount. To save even more money on these cartridges, you can remove the old cartridge, twist it apart, and replace the seats and springs. You can see videos for this easy job. If you choose this option, the cost is about $2.00. Danco and Delta make the seats and springs.

Purchased this to correct a leak in my bathtub faucet. Had purchased the exact same Danco unit on May 2nd, but after numerous installations, cleaning, reading, researching, etc, the leak always came back. Mind you this took a full day. Figured unit must be faulty and ordered this one, on May 6th. Again, exact same result. Leak leak leak leak. We have a 2nd bathroom which was not leaking and had an older Danco unit installed. Decided to swap that older working one to the other bathroom to see if the leak would continue. Basically trying to see if it was a faulty valve or some other problem like a calcium buildup in the wall housing. Well, this unit actually broke when trying to remove it. OMG!!! Well, i still had an idea. I opened this old working Danco unit and installed the seat & springs into the newly purchased Danco, reinstalled and the leak was gone. So basically a old Dance unit over 2 years old had better interior working components than a brand new one. I then went to Home Depot and purchased a Seat & Springs kit and installed them into the other Danco i purchased on May 2nd. Guess what, leak gone. This took two days of my life and I am requesting a full refund on both Danco units and the cost of the Seat & Springs purchase. What a complete nightmare.

The Danco Delta Diamond Cartridge Kitchen Faucet Repair Kit installation & fit was perfect... and half-the-price of an OEM Delta replacement. The cartridge has been installed for a couple of months & has operated just like an OEM product - in fact, it's a bit smoother & more precise in controlling water flow than the original cartridge that came with the faucet. Highly recommend the Danco replacement cartridge for ease of installation and performance following installation.

Decided to save some money in the quest to fix my drip. Went in okay, though couldn't get press in all the way - not sure if screwing on the retainer ring down tight forced it in the rest of the way. Anyhow, it did fix the drip. The downsides:1) The hot limit control was set too low for me, even at it's max setting. I had to remove the limiter switch and turn it a fair amount to be able to get the screw back in. Not a big deal as I don't have elderly or small children using this and at risk of scalding.2) When you turn it there's a cheap feel to it, turns too easily, and sometimes there is a stutter to its movement. The original wasn't like that.3) Kind of hard to hit the temp I want, goes from a bit too hot to not hot enough. The original wasn't great, but better.

This is a Danco part tgat fits as expected. The price was a lot less than local purchases. Arrived tge next day and installed in 10 minutes. Problem solved!

Delta had two versions of this cartridge with the same model number, however, the new one sold by Delta and other generic manufacturers does not fit inside the valve body that uses the "OLD" variant (Visit Delta's website). The key identifier is the grey disk near the top of the valve stem. So if your cartridge has this small grey disk, you will need THIS valve.I've just installed the cartridge and it worked flawlessly. The default hot water temperature setting is very luke warm, so you'll need to follow the provided instructions to adjust the maximum temperature to your liking. You can make the adjustments after the valve is reinstalled.

No plumbing genius here, so I inserted it with the bravado of a guy who didn't need instructions. Well, Hot was Cold and vice versa. Pulled it out, inverted it and voila. Easy as pie all around. Couldn't be happier with the result. Perfect!
