This was no doubt an OEM product, in original packaging, ready to install.Installation takes only about 15 minutes and requires very few tools. The faucet is back to it's original, very smooth operation, feeling like-new.Great price for a great product! This was used in our Delta Bellini faucet, purchased at Lowes approx. three years ago.

This replacement piece is great. It’s the original Delta item. Priviously I bought an imitation made in china. It never worked good. After 1 month it was leaking like before so I decided to buy Delta original part which cost 3 times as much but it works flawlessly. In Spanish they say: “LO BARATO SALE CAROâ€

Worked perfect and easy to install about 5 minutes. Don’t make the mistake like I did and buy the cheaper Chinese brand. That one squeaked and lever was hard to move. Definitely stick with Delta OEM product. Spend the money I wished I did.

Fairly easy install that requires 1 allen wrench and one adjustable wrench. If you have silicon grease use it, I did not. Cleaned all surface around the barrel seal and reinstalled. Start to finish it is about a 10 minute job. Will it last? I hope so. I chose the Delta OEM over others due to comments stating issues with sizing.

Update to 4 stars on 1/16/22: When I disassembled the leaking faucet, I investigated a bit further… and actually bothered to read the instructions. Turns out, tightening the bonnet nut requires the proper amount of torque. Too little and the faucet may leak, too much and the faucet handle will be hard to move to the point where the valve won’t completely shut off the water. I suspect when I installed the first replacement cartridge two years ago, I tightened the bonnet nut too much. The factory-applied lubricant was initially able to compensate for that and still let the faucet function properly. Fast-forward two years the lubricant must have worn off and now the too much torque causes the valve to not close properly. What I did was open up the currently installed cartridge, apply some silicone-based plumbers lubricant (do NOT use petroleum-based lube, it may destroy the seals) and reassemble everything. This time with the proper torque. The handle now moves with ease again and reliably shuts off the water. I guess I’ll hold on to the replacement cartridge I just received until I need another one in 5 years or so.Original review: We bought two Delta faucets during our kitchen remodel back in 2014 (it’s 2022 now). The lesser used faucet in the island still works perfectly and smoothly like on day one. Early 2020 the more frequently used sink faucet got progressively harder to operate and unless you closed it hard straight down the middle it would keep dripping.OK, getting 5 years out of a valve seems fine so I ordered this valve as a replacement. Now, early 2022, after less than two years, the new valve is showing the same problems as the previous one after 5. Not happy, Delta!!!

I previously replaced with a generic version that began leaning again within a couple months. Ordered the manufacturer item and no leaks.

If you have to keep moving your handle around to get your kitchen faucet to stop dripping, this is what you need if you have a single handle Delta Faucet. I can't say for sure but I feel like I got a better replacement part by spending a few dollars more to get the name brand instead of the after market knockoff. Take a small screwdriver and pop out the little cap covering the hex head bolt on the handle. After removing cap remove the bolt with a hex key and remove handle. Unscrew the chrome cap by hand. Then with channel locks remove the brass nut and pull out the whole brass sleeve. Then just remove the cartridge and pay attention where the orange tab at top of cartridge is and put the new in same position and reverse the process and put back together. Be sure to turn your water off before starting. It's really a easy replacement.

I have had to replace this part multiple times. Despite their claims of reliability, each one seems to last about a year. Most recently the one purchased from Amazon arrived damaged during shipping in multiple pieces. I was able to snap it back together and install it, but the faucet now drips. A dripping faucet is better than one that leaks from the handle (which it was doing before), so I won’t be returning it as a somewhat functional kitchen faucet is better than nothing. It will have to do until my local hardware store gets them back in stock, or more likely, I just have the whole faucet replaced with a different brand than Delta.

The cartridge was quite easy to install. The instructions were very clear and explained how to tighten the bonnet nut correctly if you don't own a torque wrench. As long as you have a spring scale (i.e. fish scale) and a fairly large crescent wrench it's quite easy to do. The new cartridge works well, as one would expect. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original one. It's too bad replacement cartridges are so expensive compared to "old style" washers.

delivered on time easily installed, the feel of the way the handle moves changed, it is much lighter, but works well

Don’t settle for the ‘other’ guys. This was 30% more, comes with the proper bizarrely shaped gasket, works like a charm, and installed in 6 minutes — good for another 21 years.
