Not too much to complain about at $22.00 at the time of this review. Easily removed a valves spring and valve from my test head.Pros: Good selection of valve spring cups. Easy to use this style of valve spring remover. Inexpensive.Cons: The build quality is pretty mediocre. For a hobbyist/DIY person, this will work out great. If you are in a production shop or plan on doing dozens of head disassembles, this is not the unit for you. The main C tube is very thin and lightweight. I can see this being the weak link and failure point after doing 50 or so valve remove/installs.Overall: For the price, this is pretty good. Keep your expectations inline with that and you should be good to go. If you are doing LS heads, I would go with the type that bolt into the trunnion holder.

This is a fairly decent valve spring compressor. The C-clamp feels plenty strong but I wouldn't use it for removing ball joints or anything like that. It's super easy to use and makes quick work removing 32 valves in an 8-cylinder engine. Overall, the quality is good but there was a defect in one of the adapters. The hole that attaches to the extension rods was machined just slightly too small which doesn't allow the extension rod to fully snap in place. It's not a major issue since I can just drill the opening a little larger.

If you need to do a valve job on your engine then this tool will make it easier to compress the springs so you can remove and install the keepers. It is well packaged and includes multiple sized tools for different sizes valves. It also includes lapping tools.

This kit is inexpensive, works as it should, and makes the headache of removing valves from your heads, all that much easier, AND SAFER!Feels sturdy enough, at least it held up well this week when I used it to replace the valves on a couple of my Harley's.
