The product works great I've tested it on a 12 volt light bulb was not able to try it on my fan motor which is at another location, but if it works on a 12v light bulb it will work on the 12v motor.Highly recommended and great value.

These are ok quality wise, in other words they will do the job, for how long I don’t know. These did not include instructions for installation

No instruction for connecting the variable on/off controller switch were provided. Once connected correctly, It worked extremely well. I am glad that the package included three switches for more projects.

The wiring is not intuitive. You would naturally wire black to minus, red to incoming power and blue to motor power, but this is NOT correct. Follow the diagram.Meanwhile I wired these to some fan motors in parallel of less than 1A each. The off position is definitely off, but at the lowest setting, I read something over 7V. Frankly, these should have much greater range. As for longevity, I don't have enough experience with these yet. Others have reported overheating and burnout. Time will tell. Not sure though, if I can use them due to the lack of low-end voltage range.

I had one that got hot, so it was destroyed. Ordered 3 this time and hooked up a dc brushed motor and it over heated to the point the heat sink was 225F and melted the plastic behind. I was only using a 12v 10amp motorcycle battery.Ran for 4 minutes before it cut out and then overheated. See pictures.
