This bit is amazing. It cut through joists like it was nothing. This is by far the most aggressive bit I've ever used. It's like it pulls itself through the wood and the drill is just along for the ride.

I've used these bits to run the wires for my security cameras though stucco, wood and sheetrock into the house. Ran into a nail or two and the bit ripped right through and kept on going. In fact, the only time I've replaced a bit is when I've drilled through nails and the bit dulls. They have never snapped or broken. I think the "racing red" color is what makes them so good-lol.

I am using these to drill holes through studs and beams for wiring. They are so much better than traditional spade bits. The screw point works wonders. Still on the first of the two bits.

Worked well on initial use. Then broke at the shaft. Wood was completed dry so must of been a manufacturing defect. Disappointed. Haven't tried the second drill bit yet, am apprehensive. since the first one left the cutting part in the wood and I can't remove.
