One of the things that bother me about this item is it was advertised as being UL listed. I don’t see where it’s UL listed, which is a disappointment to me. Otherwise it works fine and looks nice.

These simply get the job done. Converted two lamps for my girlfriend from single switch to 3 way in order to use 3 way bulbs, 50-100-150, as her compact florescents were simply dim and horrific, under relatively dark shades. These bulbs should do the trick. Connected very simply, nueutral to silver, hot to brass. Gave each wire a touch of solder so they wouldn't shred as I tightened the screw.

These 3way switches are simple to install. The base of the supplied plastic knob is thick, which may not suit lamps with narrow slots.I upgraded a working on/off socket to 3 way with one and repaired a defective 3way lamp with the other.

Had a lamp with a broken 3-way switch and this was a perfect replacement. Didn't think I would need two but then a month later I bought a new lamp and it only had a conventional switch so I replaced that one too. Just be aware they are polarized so you do have to get the 2 wires to the correct screws or it won't work correctly.
