For about $10, this unit works great! I read many reviews where people said it wasn’t providing power to the external device and that the instructions were not clear, and I would agree that they are limited, but if you have any electrical experience at all they are fine.The unit is not designed to provide power to the external device being controlled, it simply switches one leg of the power to the external device on or off accord ing to the parameters the user sets. I have the 110v model, and I jumpered the hot leg from the input power to one of the terminals for the cooling mode, in my case it is controlling a small exhaust fan in my 10x12 workshop.The only issue I have with the unit is I can’t see any way to switch from Centigrade to Fahrenheit, but that is a minor issue and doesn’t detract from it’s overall functionality, but did result in 4 stars vs 5!

Pictures show that this controller reads Fahrenheit. Received and it only reads Celsius.
