The end pin works well, plenty long and strong enough. However, the diameter of the plug is slightly larger than the hole in the bottom of the cello so it sticks out about 1/4 inch further than flush. Does not appear to be an issue, however, but I will have my luthier look at it next time I go in for a rework. Do not know if the issue is from my cello or their end pin.
