This was so much better than the cone. And much cuter. She still isn’t too happy but does seem to be more comfortable. It is very durable and a great value for the money. It takes a little bit to inflate. But it is easy to use and fits great.

I recently purchased two of these cone collars for my Dobermans who were both undergoing spaying surgery. I'm so glad I did! Compared to the hard plastic cones I've used in the past, these were a lifesaver. What I loved: * Comfort: They're soft and comfortable, so my dogs didn't seem to mind wearing them at all. No more clanging into walls or furniture! * Quiet: The soft material means no more annoying noises when they bump into things. * Washable: Easy to clean – just unzip and toss them in the wash. * Cute: Let's face it, the traditional cones aren't very stylish. These are actually cute! * Functional: They did their job perfectly, preventing my dogs from bothering their incisions.Highly recommend! If you're looking for a comfortable and practical alternative to the traditional "cone of shame", these are definitely worth considering.

I got this for my dog after her spay surgery. The watermelon design was super cute! I really liked that the outer cover was removable. She was able to get out of the cone initially, but when I put her collar through the inside loops she was unable to take it off. She was able to maneuver to the surgical site, but I used both this and a surgical onesie. I think that if the cone part was a little bigger she would not have been able to lick the incision, but the next size up would have been too big around her neck. I think the combination worked the best for her. Overall, this was much more comfortable than a traditional cone and I would use it again.

The Dog cone collar came on time, blew up easily and fit perfectly. I was a little concerned at first because although Maisie is a small dog, 14 lbs., she has a sturdy neck. Fully blown up the collar seemed slightly tight, but I let a little air our, and it was perfect. She was comfortable and happy in her Dog Cone Collar. She played, ate and slept in it after her spay surgery, and it looked so cute! I love the donut design! Maisie never panicked or bumped into things with the Dog Cone Collar. Her vision did not seem to be blocked by it. It is easy to put on and take off, quite sturdy and wipes clean. The cover is removable for washing too.

This is Winston, the wild Frenchie. He had to have surgery after eating trash (who knows from where) and getting it stuck in his small intestines. After surgery, he kept freaking out and jumping up, scared. I realized it was his cone and him seeing his own reflection that was scaring him. Luckily, I could get this same day.So, the details: we ordered a size large because of Frenchie's bigger neck. It was easy to inflate. My 9 year old did it while I took off the cone. It has a reinforced plug and inserts firmly into itself so that dog can't bite it. The fabruc is soft and slightly stretchy. The inner tube has an indentation so that it feels like 2 tubes, which makes it more comfortable for him when he lays down. There is a loop on the inside to keep in place and an adjustable velcro strip for perfect fit. The fabric can come off to be washed.Winston is much happier being able to see and move freely. He doesn't try to remove this and his freak outs stopped entirely.I think this was a great deal. I worried that he was going to hurt himself because of how scared he was of the cone.Great idea to make an uncomfortable time for your dog far easier.

So Ella had surgery on her lip to remove a tumor. Ergo cone of shame.I knew she would need one for a longer period so elected to try the inflatable as we really just needed her to not scratch her ears. She hates the traditional cones so I thought I would try this.We ordered the XL as she was 2 inches above the large on the size chart for neck when measuring. Ella is a 5 year old 85 lb Golden retriever.I’ll start with the pros. It’s cute, it’s overall easy to set up. It dries fast. It’s easy to wipe down. It’s somewhat of a pillow so she can lay on it and snuggle more comfortably than a traditional plastic cone.Cons.It doesn’t prevent her from going to a doorjam and yanking out 6/7 sutures. Or going to a wall at an angle and rubbing at her face.If she eats with it on (which is necessary or she stops to scratch) the cover gets quite dirty. Almost need two so that you can trade them out.I’ve been using dawn power wash spray on a papertowel to clean up between meals. I also use dog wipes on her fur to help with any itchiness.I found it impossible to inflate without using my air pump. So make sure you get one if you don’t have. It also needs to be partially reinflated each day as well as the collar adjusted as the collar material comes loose.Ella has successfully escaped twice from the cone of shame in the morning before I add more air by rubbing against the wall/door moulding in the hallway. I think she’s rolling until the collar starts to loosen as the material doesn’t stay set and then finishes it off on the woodwork. If your doggo is smart and an escape artist like mine then be prepared to set the alarm to add the extra air every morning so they won’t escape said cone of shame when you’re in the shower.I also had to cut excess off the Velcro strap as it was extremely long and dangling on the ground where she would trip even if I looped it. I cut off over 6 inches. I thought this was strange as the collar (though I need to tighten it daily) doesn’t have a lot of spare room.Overall I’m rating it a 3. Mainly for novelty factor and that it’s soft for her to lie on. There are some obvious design flaws of the cone for the more creative dogs like mine though that enjoy a challenge. If your dog is lazy you’re probably fine with minimal worry and just the daily adjustment.I think they need to make the collar material better. It’s too easy for dogs to slip at current as it gets loose with repeated movement. I have to tighten it daily.I think for the size fit some not much larger dogs than Ella would have trouble getting into the XL.As my dog was successful in yanking out 6/7 sutures overnight while in the cone and required an emergency vet visit in the morning I can’t say I’m entirely pleased with the product.Pictures of Ella in her cone and Ella with her sutures gone. Ella is unrepentant.
