If you are taking the dash off your working to hard, I used some small flat blade screwdrivers and worked them into the sides with the metal clips and it popped out, I moved the plug over and pushed it back in and like magic it worked. Literally took me 3 1/2 minutes (not bragging, its a super easy part to change, but some YouTube videos showed removing the dash and all kind of crazy stuff). My only 'complaint' is it has nice cool white led lighting and looks new, it makes the rest of the dash show its age.

You can hear the gears activating but there is no light that indicates what mode you are in. The original one had a orange light indicating bit the new one has none it seems. Will post later how it will work on vehicle.
