I generally do not like Dorman products, but they nailed this one. I bought this since the gasket in my USA Standard Gear overhaul kit did not fit properly. I rebuilt a 2nd BW4416 transfer case and found the same thing so I again bought a Dorman gasket. The Dorman gasket is also thicker and since it's also a heat transfer block thicker is better. This was used in a 2004 Expedition with 4R70W/BW4416 combo.

Fit my NP205 transfer case, I bought a rebuild kit and the gasket that came with it was not even close, so I bought this hoping it would be correct. I swapped in a NV4500 in my 93 cummins and this gasket works perfect, it would work with the Getrag or the NV, probably any trans because this gasket is “complete†if you know what I mean. covers the entire surface area, and then some

No RTV and no leaks on day 2, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves, I haven’t used the case for other then 2WD as I’m lazy and haven’t put up the front driveline (junkyard trans) otherwise, save your money and get this instead of the competitor for OEM application
