I’ve broken a bunch of these over the years. This one has a wooden top which makes for a firm grip. also, it has a thin silicone bottom which prevents slipping. Well thought out and better than any other butter bell I’ve ever had! A good buy!

Out of all of the butter Crocks that I viewed this was my favorite. The white color shows me simplicity and the little brown knob is just what puts the icing on the cake for me. I purchased this based on its looks. I figure all Crocks serve the same purpose. The only thing that worries me is that the wood on top may eventually come off. There's no sign of that but I can tell that it has been glued on because there's a clear residue around the knob at the bottom of it. But that also tells me if it comes off then I can just glue it back on. Walla h!

Decent quality for the price. Of course it’s made in China. It would be helpful to include instructions on how to use. Quick online search and I was able to find a video.
