Ecotec 2.0 2.4 Timing
Function:
- Designed to help out in torquing cam to pulley bolts on the GM Ecotec 2.0 2.4.

- Made of high hardness steel, not soft steel, not alloy, so the tool is strong, set the camshaft timing, the tabs not easy bent fairly easily while removing the camshaft gear bolts.

I used this on a 2009 Cadillac SRX 3.6l. I found that using this tool you can replace all the timing chain components with the engine in stage 1 timing. It secures the camshafts from rotation during the job, with no need to move to phase 2 at all. Look for the Melling video on YouTube. Worked well for me.

Works great only thing is that the bolts that hold the tool in place are to long. Had to make spacers to take up the space. About half inch.

I orde it to work on a 2013 chevy equinox and it doesn't line up the cams when you set it on TDC
