I use this for the whole “Guitarâ€, but not on nitro finishes; there are better products for that. It’s excellent for cleaning the fret board, lubricating the nut, cleaning and protecting hardware. 1 bottle should last 3-5 years (easily). A tiny amount will due the job. Great product

This product is like magic. I have been using it for 14 years on my Washburn acoustic guitar, my Gibson Les Paul Studio Alpine White, and my acoustic Yamaha. The latter features an unfinished neck and headstock, so I cannot use guitar polish on these parts to clean them. This product can be used on every part of the guitar. Personally, I would not recommend it for regular cleaning/polishing, rather I use it whenever I restring my guitar(s), that is every 3-4 months. From my experience, and because "it never dries", as stated on the label, using it once every few months is actually enough to do its job. You can think of it like car paint polish and wax; normally people do not polish and wax their cars every time they wash it. One-two drops are enough to cover a big area. It works particularly well on parts of the guitar with unfinished wood, such as the bridge and especially the fingerboard (except maple), where guitar polish is not recommended. As a tip, you can use the cloth that you use to apply the product on the guitar, for cleaning the guitar after each playing session, without applying more product; the product still on the cloth from your previous applications will help clean and shine the body and neck. And finally, a single bottle will last literally for many many years!

Adds moisture to your neck and fretboard. Great product. No funky-funky build up, no sticky or oily feeling after its applied. It doesn’t change the color of your fretboard. It will not make a pao-ferro fretboard look like aged dark rosewood, but it does darken it a bit, but only in a way that would be consistent with a well cared for instrument.I use this every time I change strings. Simple Green cleaner to, well, clean. Let dry thoroughly. Then add this stuff. Been doing that for a while now. My bottle shouldlast a good long time as this is a little dab will do you kind of a product.

This Axwax seems to work well to clean and lubricate, but the bottle it comes in makes a complete mess. It's made of flimsy plastic that makes the cleaner spurt out of the spout on the lid when you close it. If you try to move the bottle by picking it up while the lid is open the sides of it sink in and then the liquid comes gushing out of it through the lid. The bottle seems to be the biggest downside of the whole operation. I will probably use a different cleaners bottle to store when I run out of one soon. It seems like the plastic of this bottle it's packaged in is not even half as thick as the ones that other cleaners come in from manufacturers like D'Addario or MusicNomad who seem to put some thought into the packaging of their products.

I purchased this on the recommendation of a local guitar technician. I'd taken my 1970's Takamine classical guitar to him for cleaning and adjustments, but instead he said I could easily do the clean up myself and save some money. I used some super-fine steel wool on the frets and then applied the Dr. Duck on the fretboard and all over the whole guitar with a clean cotton cloth. It really cleaned up the fretboard and made everything nice and shiny. I plan to use this every time I replace my strings.

Love it for my maple neck guitars and headstock. But I don't like it for the body. And coming out of the bottle is messy....

This is Dr Ducks. This is a cleaner/lubricant and polish all in one. I use this on All of my Jackson Guitars. From body to frets to strings. Wow. I am impressed with the quality of the glide I seem to get from the fret board. I have been looking for something like this and here it is! Dr Ducks!
