First of all: I use DR strings on all my acoustic and electric instruments. I find they feel and sound better than any other strings I have used over the course of 60 years. These Mandolin strings really ring!! I like their feel and they just keep ringing after a month of playing every day. The price is just right, also.

As a professional mandolin player I have played every string available. Nothing compares to crisp clarity and bright tone these strings project. I simply will not go back to any other string.

As always the delivery was timely, But these were a gift for my mandolin playing daughter and I bought them based on reviews. She didn't mention them being not good so I'll give them a five.

These are the best strings I've ever used on my mandolin. They seem to be less metallic-sounding, and they bring out the sound of the wood itself rather than the sound of the strings. They cost a bit more than J74s but they last longer too. Highly recommend.

Smoother feelng than the EJ74s - Darker Sounding and more 'pop' than the GHS A270s - Louder than both as well. These will be my 'go to strings' for my '02 Gibson F9.

These strings last with daily playing for six months. I'm quite pleased. I've been using them exclusively on my mandos for a couple of years.

I love these strings, last ages (months), and have great sound (in my opinion), not cheap but I find they outlast others by months, making them good value
