Very affordable alternative to Pirazzi's. Dominant's may or may not pair well depending on your instrument, but it did pair well with mine. Found the sound to be much deeper and soothing than Pirazzi's. Helps that they last a while as well. If you are looking for a gut sound but affordable and durable strings, use the dominants.

I play a Luis and Clark carbon fiber viola. They recommend Dominant C, G, and D strings, and a Larsen A; I've tried others and have found that this string combination is by far the best for my fiddle, just as they told me it would be.
