All front mount receivers have a 2” square receiver tube opening and all attachments are J-Pin ready. Front mounted receivers offer a secure and useful attachment point and offer 9000 lbs. of line pull and 500 lbs. vertical load. The METALSHIELD protective coating process is a three step finish consisting of a rust inhibiting primer, dipped E-coat electrostatic coating to insure total finish coverage and finally an outer powder coat finish for durability. The METALSHIELD process is an OEM compatible finish providing the best corrosion protection over brands that use only powder coat on their products. Install time is an estimated 40 minutes and requires 18, 21mm and 3/4" wrenches. Fascia trimming required. Hitch crosstube concealed behind bumper. First this install was pretty easy. Taking off license plate holder was toughest issue.However the receiver could come out farther so you don’t have to climb under truck every time you want to install receiver pin. Kind of a pain by yourself. Looking at getting receiver extension, something else to buy, so I’m not climbing under truck on rainy days in the NW.

Fun to find out the fitment is incorrect after it said it would fit a 2015 Silverado 3500. Nothing like pulling the whole front end off only to find out there since you were on parts

The hitch was super easy to install and the directions for cutting the hole in the plastic were very helpful. Looks nice, works well. Hitch pin isn't too hard to install either.

it went in fine, but it is not as pictured. the flanges are bent outward, and DO NOT follow the instructions for cutting the under-bumper fairing. it is way lower than the instructions tell you to cut the fairing, and will leave you a huge hole in it. it also will catch on stuff.

Haven't installed yet. spend the whole evening removing labels, stickers, packing slips, and return labels. Very disappointed with packaging or the lack of. I recevied the hitch. with no box. It came all scatched up from delivery. some owes me a new powder coat or linex paint job. Hitch doesn't match picture, but what does.

Heavy duty and seems like something that will do the trick, but had to create a nut holder with a popsicle stick and masking tape to install it....all that while holding a HEAVY object was not easy.

Product arrive fast....exactly as describe and installed on my own in just over an hour. Only had to remove two existing front bumper bolts and was a simple bolt on installation. Was a great addition to the truck for winching and trailer moves in those tight spots. Would highly recommend this hitch !!

Made in Mexico. Engineering is well thought out but fabrication could use a little more care and attention. "As-is" mine wouldn't fit, it took a couple blow with the sledge hammer and wood blocks to line things up, I had to mount and dismount 3 times. I had to add extra shims that weren't included (only 1 is supplied) to fill void. Angle of hitch with respect to horizon is slightly off unfortunately. I truly believe this is a fabrication issue. Powder coat black paint is well done. Welds and seams are nice (No China crap). This was fit to a 2010 Silverado HD that is still mint and never been in any accident. Total install time was +2 hrs but would of easily took 45 mins had everything lined up properly. Instructions are clear and well written. Mine was received in a cardboard box that got destroyed in transit because hitch was loose inside without any packaging or retention. Amazon is aware and will rectify for future orders.
