Use a crowbar to pry the old glass together with the plate;
Unplug the pins which connect the old glass;
Put the pins into the new glass;
Put the plate align with the steering gear, and press it on the center.

Only downside is you have to reuse your old wiring. The mirror doesn't come with the connector. Super glued it on and I'll see if it works in the amNo idea If the defrost actually works but I will soon
