About this item

  • Easy to Use:Set Start and Stop temperature to turn ON and OFF reptile heating pad / heat lamp, keep your environments at ideal temperature range
  • NO Buffer|NO Restriction:Unlike other thermostat with single point control, Pymeter thermostat allows you to set temperature point to control heating start and stop. DON'T have buffer zone or artificial restriction, it switches the heat mat on and off right at the setpoints
  • Dual Zone Controller:With 2 independent probes and outlets, able to control temperature for 2 tanks/terrariums/enclosures simultaneously or individually
  • Peace of Mind:Support HIGH and LOW temperature Alarm, say goodbye to overheat or cold, always keep your reptiles healthy and full of vitality
  • Versatile Funcions:You can combine outlet 1 and outlet 2 as heating+heating, heating+cooling, cooling+heating, cooling+cooling. Bring you great convenience for all purposes

1. How Pymeter control temperature?

Temperature controller is actual Heating/Cooling controller, thus MUST SET ON-Temp to turn ON Heating/Cooling, and MUST SET OFF-Temp to turn OFF Heating/Cooling.

Heating starts at LOW Temp [ON-Temp(1oN, 2oN)], stops at HIGH Temp [OFF-Temp(1oF, 2oF)], thus for heating MUST SET 1oN(2oN) LESS than 1oF(2oF);

In heating mode, 1oN(2oN) is the minimum temp you allow, 1oF(2oF) is the maximum temp you allow.

Cooling starts at HIGH Temp [ON-Temp(1oN, 2oN)], stops at LOW Temp [OFF-Temp(1oF, 2oF)], thus for cooling MUST SET 1oN(2oN) GREATER than 1oF(2oF).

In cooling mode, 1oN(2oN) is the maximum temp you allow, 1oF(2oF) is the minimum temp you allow.

2. Reading temp is inaccurate?

Every Pymeter controller is calibrated before come out of factory, it is reading temp accurately!

Please don't compare it to common inaccurate thermostat、thermometer or temp gun. If you doubt Pymeter controller accuracy, please calibrate with ice-water mixture (it is 32F when ice is melting), and you will see which device is accurate then.

3. Beeper keeps sounding?

Probably it is the Alarm settings ( AL、AH、d7 ) you set are NOT the right temperature you want. AL is low temperature alarm(it sounds when current temp is AL or Lower), AH is high temperature alarm(it sounds when current temp is AH or Higher), d7 is difference alarm(it sounds when the temp deviation between sensor 1 and sensor 2 is over d7). If you don't need alarm function, please don't change the values of AL、AH、d7, the default values usually won't trigger alarm. You can factory reset by switching temp unit from F to C in setting.

I purchased this to run heater units in two resin 3D printers. For my needs this thermostat has been perfect, it has a variance of roughly 2°C and has never deviated from that variance. My only complaints are the incredibly loud beep each time a button is pushed to set the temperature and the inability to turn the individual thermostats off. The beeping is not a huge issue once you get the temperature dialed in, but it is VERY loud, it's audible throughout the house and through two closed doors. The option to turn one or the other power feed off is unique to my use, so it shouldn't affect most users.

This particular timer is set up a bit differently than any other timer of this style I’ve come across for the temperature. It has a start temp and an end temp. Make sure you read the instructions. It works great and seems to be spot on with temp gauging compared to my temp gun. Very happy.

Pretty big pain in the butt to setup, but works well

After being in service for two weeks I have to say it is fantastic. Far more accurate than I expected, and controls as programmed. Some people complain about not being able to program it easily, but I am 85 and it seemed easy. (But maybe they didn't put man is space and bring them back in their career.) Seriously I found programming easy and the product exceeds what I expected. Over the last two weeks it demonstrated it solved a problem many homeowners experience, and it looks like I have an idea that could help thousands of people. The idea is in its 3rd design generation but always included the dual probe temperature controller. Don't hesitate to buy it and if necessary, get help on programming it.

This works fantastically for my QIDI S-Box resin 3d printer, which has lots of room behind the resin tank. What I mean is that I bought a 110v mini personal heater and ran the wire from inside the build chamber out to the temperature controller. Then I hung it from the back wall with a magnet. I also ran the thermostat sensor into the chamber as well. I plugged the personal heater (https://www.amazon.com/Safety-Energy-saving-Portable-Desktop-Electric/dp/B07573FKSG/ref=sr_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=mini+personal+heater&qid=1634037256&sr=8-16) into this power strip and set the appropriate temperature. It works great. I usually run Siraya Tech resins which require a heated chamber. It takes about 20-25 minutes to heat up the chamber to the set temperature of 86 F (or 30C) and I am good to go. It maintains the temperature very well. I couldn't do it without this temperature controller. And I can run 2 separate heater setups for each of my 2 Qidi S-Box printers because each outlet has it's own separate sensor and settings!!!

I have a large enclosure for a green tree python, and I have to keep the temps on each end in specific ranges. This dual controller allows me to regulate two separate heating elements at the same time, keeping one end very warm and the other cooler.

Have only had this since the end of August, not even two months and one outlet has a blown fuse (light is off won't reset) . Not thrilled. Good thing heat rises and it is for the upper portion of my vivarium...

Bi bi biii beeps. Display shows EEE. Reset and reboot. Unplugged for a week. Still does this. Contacted the main company since they have a 1 year warranty with no answer or how to fix the issue. Have not even owned this a year
