My 8 year old wanted a yo-yo. She picked this one because of it being purple. She is a beginner, this is honestly a good yo-yo for a beginner, good quality for being a cheaper one too. I tried to find one in store and couldn’t, Amazon came in clutch.

This yo-yo lasted less than a month. And okay, it can still be used if we want to. How was I to know my son would catch on so quick that he’d need more space. The yo-yo now has a good chunk taken out of the side (acquired earlier this week), and I don’t want to look at my ceiling. Nor do I want to know which counter he hit. But he’s getting really good, so we’ve had to upgrade already. ðŸ˜For the cost, a month’s time is an okay value.

It is a classic yoyo. It is a little light wight. That makes it harder for younger kids that are just starting out.

I happened to dig out my 60 year old Duncan (wooden) Yo-Yos when my 10 year old granddaughter was here for a visit. She did very well with only minimal instruction. So I got her this one for her own, and some official replacement strings for mine. Looking forward to instructing and practicing together. Purple is her favorite color too!I only wish the still made the old Saturn style.

Grandkids 12 and 10 loved them and said they were much better than those received at some parties...smoother and did not tangle.
