This tool does what it’s supposed to do, but I found it difficult to use for my application. I was trying to make a clean square cut of ABS pipe so I could place my shower drain flange at a very specific height. But without a depth gauge, it was hard to make an accurate cut. And it took a surprising amount of time/effort to cut through the pipe. Despite practicing beforehand, I ended up with a non-square roughly cut pipe at the wrong length. This tool does just fine for rough cuts, but wish I had purchased something different for my bathroom renovation.

Not much more to say other than it does it’s job and it does it well. It is as good as the name brands (husky, kobalt, etc.) but it comes with 2 day shipping at a better price!

I'm a handyman by trade, and I need to replace toilet mounting flanges fairly regularly. To do the job right, you should cut out the old flange and glue in a new one to ensure a proper seal. Those flange repair kits and extension kits aren't a great option, in my opinion, especially since I warranty my work. This cutting tool attaches to my drill, and cuts the inside of the pipe easily. I can then debur the pipe and glue in the new flange. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.The cutter includes 1 shaft and 3 blades, so this tool should have a longer service life for me than the last one I bought at Home Depot.
