Simplify your plumbing and home improvement projects with the Eastman frost-free spigot. Composed of heavy-duty brass, these spigot valves feature a large wheel handle that protects against corrosion and a notched flange for easy installation. These valves are equipped with a vacuum breaker that prevents backflow. The outside faucet valve will provide a source of water to areas of a structure that are subject to freezing and is ideal for use with new installation or to replace an existing sillcock. Freeze-proof sillcocks measure 10 inches in length and are equipped with a 1/2 inch Male Inlet Pipe (MIP) x 1/2 inch Sweat connection. UPC and CSA-certified

I don't understand why these simple fittings are so expensive. This one is cheap and built the same as a $60 faucet.

This Sill Cock is sturdy and works well. The big problem with it, is it takes 17-20 turns (1/4 turns) to turn on or off. No exaggeration. My spigot is below my deck against the wall so I have to get on my knees to turn it on. This makes it a pain with soooo many turns. If that doesn't bother you, go for it. I had it for 1 year and can't deal with it any more, so spent the stupid $35 and I bought a 1/4 Sill Cock to replace it.

Works well. If the length matters, the tube is 8 inches long, the threaded end adds another inch.

Upon installation we found the unit had a defective seal, my plumber repaired it and installation was completed. Sale should oversee quality before shipping!!
