Already own a Spektrum transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!
Exclusive Technologies
This UMX Conscendo is equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make easier to fly!
Higher Performance
The factory-installed brushless outrunner motor is specially-tuned to deliver an abundance of thrust with 2S 280-300mAh batteries (a suitable JST-RCY to JST-PH adapter may be required), or more speed and unlimited vertical performance with 3S 300mAh batteries without the need for any modifications or upgrades.

I love this little airplane. Fly it fast or just float around hunting thermals. A really fun aircraft to fly. One of my top favorites. Small inexpensive battery. reliable electronics. SAFE mode for those just learning to fly RC or super stable flight on windy days. Did some slope gliding with it as well. A very serious aircraft.

What an incredible UMX. I know why this is now considered the best UMX out there.Yes, it requires "assembly," but it only takes 30 seconds each time.On a 3S pack, this thing absolutely rips. Note that it's tail heavy, so if you're using a 2S pack, you'll need to add some weight to the nose. Even with a 3S, I use a lot of down elevator trim. My goal is to trim it so it glides stably and without oscillating at idle power. As a result, adding power results in a lot of pitch up moment. I will need to experiment with mixing in throttle with down elevator in order to counter this, but I haven't seen the need yet.It's incredibly maneuverable. Slowing it down for a hand catch takes some practice, but there's lots of opportunity to go around.Do not land on concrete surfaces or your front skid will be reduced to almost nothing in just 2 or 3 landings. Grass landings are the best.The agility is incredible.For the price, I have not found a more fun RC plane. It's no less fun than my Turbo Timber Evolution and can be flown in more places.

This plane flies great in small areas but has the ability to go straight vertical. Super fun! I use this as a warm up plane before I fly my larger models. Very agile and probably one of the more fun airplanes for the $ and small size. Can't go wrong with this or the umx turbo timber evolution imo for the $.

This really is one heck of a plane. Works really well. Can fly in the wind. It's really quick and responsive just like the larger one. Don't question it just buy it. You'll love it.

The plane is great and arrived undamaged but the box had been opened and repacked and showed signs of water damage. I got lucky and the pane was fine but I would definitely order from Horizon hobby next time.

It is super light and can milk the lift as good as most non-powered gliders. I find the whole "safe" thing super annoying and there is no way to turn off the constant jittering of the glider trying to fly itself for me. It's so loud it sounds like an airplane even when the motor isn't on. I'm using the standard three cell spektrum battery but for some reason it took all the down trim I have to stay level and about six clicks of right...maybe left I don't recall. The motor has a buzzing sort of sound to it and I thought it was just the way its mounted on a little peg so I melted some hot glue around it to secure any vibration a little better but then after closer inspection I noticed one of the blades angles further forward then the other. Then I found the little bracket where the blade attaches is actually cracked on both sides! I greased it in on wet grass the first time and have caught it with plenty of give (it feels pretty fragile) the other three landings so there no way I should have broken anything. It also has an issue where I have to rebind it almost every time I fly, one time I waited about five minutes and it finally linked up on its own. I still haven't been able to get the spoilerflaps to work and even the telemetry does nothing and that's after going through the process of registering with spektrum and downloading the update.
