Easy to fly. Great for small areas. It will get off the ground in about 2 feet using full throttle. Very stable. Has very nice glide and slow flight characteristics. I like to take it up to about 150 feet and shut the throttle off and let it glide down. It will also do nice aerobatics. Inside and outside loops are not a problem. Rolls are very nice. I can do cuban 8's with mine no problem. No problem binding to my Spektrum NX10 transmitter. I get 5 minute flights with Spektrum 3S 300mah batteries. Could be used as trainer for a beginner. Avoid windy weather.Update: Ths plane is a blast to fly and I've crashed 3 of them because I like to do crazy things. With 3S lipo it has amazing performance and I take it off crosswise from a 3 foot wide picnic bench. On the last one I noticed that the rudder servo froze but luckly in the straight position but I use the rudder a lot when I fly so I wasn't able to do the things like to do. Keep in mind that it's a cheap airplane and things won't last forever. But as I noted previously, it can be docile enough to be a good trainer.

I went from one of the cheap leve 1 trainer planes to this. If you have little experience make sure you know what your doing, what all the controlls do and make adjustments to the plane before you fly it and know where the safe mode switch is on your controller most importantly! . I took it off same mode my first flight and dive bombed it and broke it in half. Luckily I was able to glue it back together and get advice from some one with experience and it flies great now. super easy to land it will glide down with ease even if your using zero throttle

Flys really amazing recommend for any stage flying. Been flying planes for 15 plus years now and I bought this to help teach my wife how to fly. Have a small area by the house I can just flip on safe mode with high rates and she can fly around with no help. And to land just lower the throttle and pretty much just lands its self.

Main board came unglued before any flight time...Had a maiden flight lost the gear....2nd flight had it all dialed had remote ID... registered..flying at a local park must of lost connection or lost a servo mid flight. i got to watch my hobby fly away from me with no control or limited...I search around the area for around 30mins...a lot of lessons learned I bought this for 139.99 and this was the second plane as the first lost elevator servo before any type of flight.....you can see where this can really kick someone when they're down....I guess I'll spend more for a plane if I continue .Maybe Ill get lucky I put my registration number in pen and taped over on the fuselage**EDIT found 2/2/25 .6 miles from take off ....failsafe landed it without a scratch ...lets see if i can keep it LOW AND SLOW

Overall, this plane is a good buy. Its quite reliable and is relaxing to fly. . Its ease of use, stability, and portability make it a great value for the price. Advanced flyers might find it too basic, but for beginners and casual enthusiasts, it’s hard to beat. It fluctuates in price, so if you catch it when the price is good, get it!

After a 15 year hiatus, I got back into flying. My first plane was a UMX Radian motor glider, and this was my second. I have since moved on to bigger planes, but this little guy continues to be a lot of fun to fly in front of my house when I don't want to go to the flying field. It can be very aerobatic if you want it to be, and with full flaps down, is a lot of fun to 'bush fly' with short take offs and landings. It does nice hammer head stalls, and can be coaxed into a snap roll under power. The plane is robust. I've crashed it twice, both times due to an aileron servo failure (see below). I broke the nose off the first time, and cracked the wing the second time, but both easily repaired with some toothpicks, scotch gift wrap clear tape, and foam-safe CA glue. Pro tip: White Brother P-touch label tape is a perfect match to cover up repairs, and is very light. Now the one problem: the aileron servos are prone to failure, and if you do a Google search you'll find many reports about the aileron servos jamming on this plane. Some people get lucky and never have much of a problem, and some people like me have had multiple failures (maybe it's because I fly aerobatics, and if you're more of a sedate flyer you won't have a problem). I have had two aileron servos fail. One locked up without warning, and was actually smoking when I retrieved it. One of the chips on the underside of the servo got hot enough to slightly melt the plastic servo tray (well really more of a plastic frame glued to the foam) under it. The other servo just became became intermittent and very sluggish last week and glitched during a low pass. You can order replacement servos for $15 or less. You can also find them second hand. I have no idea if eFlite will replace them under warranty - haven't tried yet. The servos are not hard to replace: remove a clear wind screen that's tack glued (I recommend a small dab of clear silicon chalk to glue it back), remove two jewelers screws that hold the servo down, unplug the wire, and disconnect the push rod. These are linear open servos, with the rheostat exposed instead of sealed like in a normal servo, and over time friction from the wiper leaves a residue which affects the ability of the servo to know what position it's in, plus you might get dust and dirt in them. The elevator and rudder are also linear servos, soldered onto the receiver board itself (so no easy replacement), but seem to hold up better. I have yet to have one fail. The flaps servo also seems to be a more robust design, and has not let me down yet (Pro tip: make SURE you tuck the battery wire in a safe place in the compartment that doesn't interfere with the open mechanics of the elevator, rudder and flap servos. It's easy to get a wire jammed into an exposed gear). Most of us who fly these UMX planes regularly have discovered that you need to spray the linear servo rheostat (the area of the track that the servo horn moves in - see photo) with a VERY small squirt of Deoxit fader spray (you can buy it here on Amazon - expensive but it will last a long time), once in a while (this spray is normally used top keep faders on audio mixers clean). Thee can has an adjustment on the spray head to turn down the spray to LOW. Also I would highly recommend limiting the throw of the ailerons and elevator servo to 95% on your transmitter, so you're not allowing the servo to reach it's limits.Do I regret buying it? No. This plane has been a blast. Considering the price, and that it's COMPLETELY assembled (zero assembly required) and ready to bind out of the box, it's a great little park flyer.Just be aware of the aileron issue and immediately land and investigate if an aileron seems to be malfunctioning, especially if you like to fly aerobatics like me.BATTERY: I bought both 2 cell and a 3 cell batteries. I would not recommend the 3 cell, and after a few uses, I put them away. I think it's too much, and puts needless strain on the servos. The plane is plenty fast and plenty aerobatic with the 2 cell. I easily get 7 - 8 minutes even flying aggressive aerobatics.

Lots of power and the handling and maneuverability is extremely good. The only downside to this plane, if you have wind over 10 mph you will most likely lose this plane if you get it too high. The motor on this plane is not strong enough to be able to fight anything more than 10 mile an hour winds
