I was hoping that will break the egg, but not so. It is not as effective in spite of extra bang and pressure.Revision: In an egg cup, the egg breaks, just hold the breaker close and tight!

It works great... Just snap the top of the egg topper and it cracks the top of the egg for easy removal of the egg... I bought 3 as gifts....

It’s possible under different conditions that it may work better, but I keep my eggs in the refrigerator and therefore they are cold. The break is a little ragged not nearly as clean cut as the picture shows.Still, some small slippers of Shell fall into pan or bowl and still need to be fished out, at least when the eggs are cold.

I am disabled. I have zero coordination. I can use this as long as the egg is still in the carton and not stuck.

It works cracks. The egg makes it easy to pour out the inside and you’re on your merry way. What more can I say?

It cracks the egg around the top but it’s not a clean cut circle like the photos show. It cracks it better than I can with a spoon so I’m keeping it but it doesn’t really work as advertised.
